Neverland- Flash Sci-Fi
Neverland was an experiment in brevity. A local (only one state away) convention called Odyssey Con does a flash fiction contest. Stories must be 500 words or less. Since I have an unfortunate tendency to run on a bit in my writing, I thought it would be a good exercise. Plus, y’know, there was prize money. Well, I didn’t win, but it was interesting to try to cram even a simple idea down into that tight of space.
